| Carbon Monoxide
Alarm |
Carbon monoxide detectors work similar to smoke
detectors. They work around the clock-even when
your security system is not armed. They are used
to detect the presence of a colorless, odorless,
poisonous gas that could be leaking from a gas
leak from your furnace or water heater.
Because it is impossible to see, taste or smell
the toxic fumes, a carbon monoxide detector can
mean the difference between life and death. By
integrating the detectors with your security
system, we can notify you of any potential
problem before it is too late.
We are there for you 24-7. If or when the alarm
is triggered, we will respond immediately
protecting your family from this silent killer.
Adding a carbon monoxide detector to your home
security system is an added assurance to you and
your loved ones safety.

of your security needs.
The Silent Killer*
Carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning occurs when
carbon monoxide gas is inhaled. CO is a
colorless, odorless, highly poisonous gas that
is produced by incomplete combustion. It is
found in automobile exhaust fumes, faulty stoves
and heating systems, fires, and cigarette smoke.
Other sources include wood-burning stoves,
kerosene heaters, improperly ventilated water
heaters and gas stoves, and blocked or poorly
maintained chimney flues. CO interferes with the
ability of the blood to carry oxygen. The result
is headache, nausea, convulsions, and finally
death by asphyxiation.
